It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Happy New year to all. Hope it was good. Mine involved being on the computer and hubby playing Lego Star Wars. I saw it was 11:59 and we paused what we were doing and wished each other a Happy New Years.

We roll like that. Usually he's in bed but he's obsessed with the Star War Lego game so he was still up playing that.

Christmas was great. We bought too many things as usual but the kids had fun. K's eyes got really big when she opened up her Wizards of Waverly Place doll(it's a show on Disney).

Could not find those zhu zhu hamsters anywhere but I listened to what K an Z talked about and they never really mentioned them, even though they were first on the Christmas wish list. They were more excited about webkins so they got two each. Zoe got some Hello Kitty stuff and some Tinkerbell stuff. Keyanah got another barbie like doll from BFC INK which is some tween doll um something.

I just make sure the clothes on the doll don't look too revealing and no heavy make up like those bratz dolls. This one came with a diary and had curly hair like K's. I try and find them dolls that look like them, since so few do.

My dad came up to spend the night and see them open their gifts. He had a great time and they got him a key ring with engraved words on it that said, 'Papa, love you always.' He didn't notice that until he'd gotten home and put his glasses on. My dad's kinda silly. He calls me every Monday and makes sure I'm watching Heroes.

Got hubby a ipod shuffle he'd hinted strongly at and some dvds. He got me some lounging clothes,aka pajamas, though sometimes when i get home from work they are what i change into hence my lounging around the house clothes,also got me a gift card to Lane Bryant's, and a three month membership to a massage place here in town. Cannot wait to go.

Also he got me FARSCAPE THE ENTIRE SERIES. He remarked I was more excited about them than the massage thing. And I was. It would only be better if I could watch FS while getting my massage. From Ben Browder.

Proof that me and the hubby are geeks? I almost bought FS for him! If I could have found it, I would have. We've been watching and we're up to S2.

So it's been kids, FS, and Lego Star Wars on Wii plus some Wii Resort. My four week cold has mostly dissapated and I plan to start dismantling the tree on Monday.


I made a panini earlier with honey mustard, turkey, onions, fresh spinach, swiss cheese and some honey. Soooo good. Crunchy bread and some sweet plus the turkey. I will definitely be making again.
