*Whew* Last week sucked big time. Had some severe insomnia and mood swings. Trying to run from grief doesn't work but I gave it a good try.

Doing lots better. Got the weekly shopping out of the way. Am in love with the instant kodak picture kiosk at Wal-mart. I didn't know it was instant, thought it would take a few days, but no. Picked the pictures I wanted of zoe and keyanah, then I saw 'make a collage.'

Wasted no time picking some pictures of AJ (they are the first pics on my digital camera since Stacey got the camera for mother's day back when AJ was in the hospital) and making a very nice collage. I'm already planning to go back and make more collages of keyanah and zoe and then all three.

Am suddenly watching youtube clips of Zac Efron in 'Hairspray.' His singing and body movement style in this movie reminds me of Richie Valens, as played by Lou Diamond Phillips. Got a dash of Elvis too. He's very cute and the songs are cute. I was looking for Queen Latifah stuff and it took me to some of these songs since she's in the movie. I'll have to rent it once it comes out.

Had chili tonight and mexican cornbread. Very delicious though i wish hubby would stop changing his recipe everytime he makes it.

When's Yuletide deadline? I think I still have time and will do it tomorrow. I have the fandoms I want and the ones I will write for all written down somewhere.

Got the kiddies some new jeans. K is up to a size seven and Zoe! omg, she just turned three in september and she's skipped from a 3T to a 5! It depends on the pants but the ones that K used to wear at the same age as Zoe are not working.

Please children, I am not raising the harlem globetrotters, stop growing so fast! Now boots, and coats are next. Zoe will wear K's coat from last year but K will need a new one. I love 'Once upon a child.' It's a gently used kid's clothing store and they have some great stuff. Some of it still has price tags on it.

[livejournal.com profile] skripka gave me a vgift sucker! And sent me a slightly naughty note about Adrian! Thanks sweetie, you know what cheers me up.

Hey sweetie? Can you send me your postal address via email? I have some things for you (for the kids...mostly). Especially now that I know you are not someone who shudders at the thought of making use of good used clothing. (I once sent stuff to someone, it wasn't appreciated, I got a major lecture about presuming poverty etc. - It's not about that. It didn't matter that I could pay for new kids clothes, it was still great when I could find good stuff to recycle)

So all of that is to say...if I'm stepping on toes, forgive me, and know that I'm just trying to help. : )

*hugs you*

Walmarts Photocenter is addictive as the dickens. Did you know you can send pictures online? and get reprints and enlargements and TONS of other neat things that way too?

Ha! Omg, don't tell me that. I'll be at their site doing all kinds of stuff. Once I get my computer situation all straightened out I want one of those printers that lets you print pictures.

The printer we have now might do it but I have to go find ink and stuff. It's as old as my computer which is going on seven years.

It's fun just going to the site and playing around, even if you don't put the order through. There's some 8x10 calendar's I'd like to print up for myself and mom and stuff, but not sure what I'd use for a picture yet.

And yeah, I hear you about the printer situation. Mine is about as old as yours. I *can* print the photos, but they don't look as nice, so I'd like to get a photoprinter too. My photo albums are sadly out of date.

Ack, my computer ate my first comment. Evil mac :(

Basically: loved getting my older cousin's hand-me-downs, and even now Dar and I do loads of shopping at consignment stores.

I'm glad that this week is better for you.

Do you happen to remember what Queen Latifah's real name is? I've been trying to track down the album she put out under her real name, but I can't remember it. Damn, it was great music, too.

I want that one too. She was on some show the other night, on A&E I think and she did a song from that album. It's Dana Owens.
